It was supposed to be a quick sketch at first, and then I got the urge to add feathers. Most everything done on one layer past step 3, using SAI’s acrylic brush. For the very last step, I used a Multiply layer to overlay the markings on top of everything else. I’m a dirty cheater, I know.
