SR Foxley Badges Foxley was actually off sailing while I was doing these, so it took a long time to communicate! Tons of fun, A+ would make badges of again.
Badge Dump PDFC ’20 Badge commissions of amazing and adorable characters! These badges were where I really perfected the double-sided badge technique. I made a bunch of photoshop actions to streamline the process and even made an AutoHotKey script to auto-load all the images into my Cricut.
Candle An illustration used for a badge of SpiceDeer’s character Candle. The character design was so engrossing that I ended up doing a full-body piece. I want to see a TV show starring her!

Jinx Guitar Jinx again – this time a relative of theirs secretly reached out to me and had me do this as a Christmas present for them 🙂 Finally getting around to posting it. Musical instruments are hard to draw but it was satisfying to finally tame this one.
Draconis Adopts Set of growing dragon adoptables that I did on commission. The shading was pretty challenging – making it look good with both light and dark designs – but I’m happy with how it turned out. It was a real challenge to organize all the layers.
Blep Squad Experimental no-shading style I tried out for these two commissioned icons. This is where I learned that I can paint a lot faster than I can do clean lineart, even if it’s not shaded at all.
Bouncy Griff Ball Whew…! I am still getting used to not having CTRL+Z when working in real medium. It was a real treat to draw this beautiful osprey-griffin character. Thank you Pachabel for donating the gorgeous thick watercolor paper! It didn’t buckle even a little!
