Lotl Love

Two lovestruck salamanders. I was trying to go for a simpler limited-palette look (for a t-shirt) but then… gave up and added a ton of detail.

Padget is in awe of the restocked axolotl keychains. Also please say hello to my baby goldfish, Padget, and my other baby goldie Chip in the background… I think this might be the first time I’ve posted them online!

Inktober Day 4 – “Underwater”

Wasn’t feeling too creative today. Tried out an ink pen with a very wide, very flexible nib. It was interesting and extremely difficult to control.

Pen doodles part 3, this time done with a lovely teal ink called Yama-dori. The self-flagellating portrait was included in a second package that I sent because I forgot to include one of the keychains in the person’s original order.

Keychains Mockups

I made these mockups and asked people to vote for which ones were their favorites. In the end, the axolotl, griffin, and fennec fox won out.
